Plum Crazy Dodge Challenger

The Dodge Challenger and Charger are not only iconic muscle vehicles from the past, they are head turning powerhouse vehicles today. Also a recognized feature for Dodge is its Plum Crazy iconic color that has made its debut throughout the years. Both Challenger and Charger will be combined with the iconic Plum Crazy color for the 2016 models. This will include Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker, and Charger R/T Scat Pack.

The two models will be featured at the Dodge Display at 13 mile and Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, Michigan. Plum Crazy was originally debuted in 1970 and has spanned over numerous muscle cars and several generations for collectors, making it a muscle car signature color ever since. Plum Crazy will open is September on sold orders only and then begin with production in November.

Regular dealership orders for Plum Crazy will open in October and continue through the end of the year. The Plum craziness has been going strong for 46 years and will be combined with the most powerful muscle cars ever. These vehicles will debut at the Woodward Dream Cruise, which Dodge believes is the perfect setting for the beauties. The paint color has been directly associated with the highly famed “Mopar-or-no-car” legacy.

Dodge believes that there is no better time to paint a Dodge brand’s iconic muscle car arsenal in the nostalgic Plum Crazy color. Production models that will be available in Plum Crazy include the 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus, R/T, R/T Plus, R/T Classic, R/T Shaker, R/T Scat Pack, 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. For Challenger, models will include SXT, R/T, R/T Road and Track, R/T Scat Pack, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat.

Dodge has been a long time innovator of vehicles including the muscle car. They have brought back together two icons for a limited time. The muscle car and Plum Crazy. Collectors will Plum go Crazy for this new color, and with the power under the hood, they will have the most powerful muscle cars on the road too.
