Engine Power – The Camry brings a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that produces 203 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. This is a slight advantage for the Camry with the Accord offering you a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that has 192 horsepower and 192 lb.-ft. of torque which gives you the efficiency and power you want. These are both excellent places to start the engine lineup for these two models.

Trunk Space – The rear area where you want to carry the cargo that you want to take with you is an important part of making sure you can have everything you want on the road with you. The Honda Accord offers a full 16.7 cubic feet of space compared to the Camry that has 15.1 cubic feet. This gives the Accord a bit of an advantage because it offers you the ability to carry what you need to when you head out on the road.

Dimensions – These two cars are part of the mid-sized sedan class and they both offer the base dimensions to fit into your garage with ease. The wheelbase length is within 0.2 inches of each other and the Accord is only 0.2 inches taller than the Camry. The Honda is wider with 73.2 inches of width compared to the 72.4 inches of the Camry. Rear Seat Room – The Toyota Camry offers you 42.1 inches of space up front and 38.0 inches in the rear and has never been a car that heard any complaints when it comes to the space offered for the ride. The Accord does offer more space with 42.3 inches up front and 40.4 inches in the rear to allow your passengers in the rear to have the added benefit of a great ride whenever they get in the back of the Accord.
