The ultimate version of the Nissan Titan does exist and it’s being fitted to give different organizations the truck they need.
Pickup trucks are among the most useful vehicles on the market today. These trucks are able to go anywhere, do everything, carry the load, and handle the rugged and tough ride when heading out away from the paved paths. Properly equipped models can be used for a variety of purposes to make sure you can have the drive that will get things done for you, but some need to be specially equipped to help organizations that have the job of taking care of our safety and protecting our resources.
the Truck for the National Parks from Nissan
The Nissan Team has been working to create trucks for different foundations to make sure they can have a truck that’s equipped the right way for the most difficult jobs they have in front of them. The team has decided to call these trucks the Ultimate Titan models. Last October a new model was revealed using the Nissan Titan XD Midnight Edition Crew Cab for the Red Cross. Recently, the team went to work to build an Ultimate Nissan Titan for the National Parks Foundation to help them get their job done and protect our parks the right way.
Doing More for the National Parks
Recently, the National Parks of the US have been affected in a negative way by the government shutdown that took place. While we could debate the necessity of this shutdown to no real conclusion, the fact is that the National Parks needed help. In February, Nissan matched all donations to the National Parks Foundation at a two-to-one ratio to help restore and protect the landscape that needs to be protected. This is a significant action by Nissan, especially considering the brand isn’t even one of our own domestic names.
The National Parks Truck is on the Way
The expected build of the new Titan truck for the National Parks Foundation will likely use a Titan XD Midnight Crew Cab Edition to be a truck that can be fitted the right way. The rear section looks like it will have the tools and the items needed that you would expect in a public utility truck. The original sketch showed seven lockable storage quarters on the side to give the team plenty of places to put the items they need. There also appears to be an air compressor in the bed and a tent on top to give a place to stay when stuck in the wilderness overnight.
The Red Cross Model Was Seriously Cool
The Red Cross model offered a build that replaced the bed with a climate-controlled lightweight bed box that made it possible for this team to be able to carry the items needed to areas that are affected by disasters and need the assistance of the Red Cross. Another model that’s been offered is one that’s been built for the Habitat for Humanity team with a custom desk and file storage system in the back seat of the cab and a traditional bed that has a lockable storage system, tools, and a ladder rack.
