It’s been 20 years since Dodge came out the HEMI engine, and they are marking the milestone with two special edition Durango models.
If you want to find one of these Durango special edition models at Dodge dealerships you can use the Dodge Horsepower Locator to find a dealer near you that has them in stock.
The SRT Silver Bullet Is a First
The SRT Silver Bullet is the first special edition Dodge has ever put out for the Durango SRT Hellcat. To make sure it is extra special, they offer it with exclusive features such as Grey metallic badging, 20-inch Lights Out finished wheels, and a painted hood in Satin Black.
But let’s get to what’s really important. What will you find under the hood? The Durango Silver Bullet will get power form the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V-8. It churns out 710 horsepower and a blistering zero to 60 mph time of 3.5 seconds. When you press on the gas in this Durango, you’ll not only feel the incredible acceleration, but with a top speed of 180 mph, you’ll also be in the most powerful SUV on the market.
The R/T 20th Anniversary: A Tribute to HEMI Power
The R/T 20th Anniversary edition is also a tribute to the power of the HEMI. It makes sure everyone who sees it knows exactly what it is about with a Black HEMI hood graphic, and special “345” fender badging, which is a shout out to the displacement of the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that’s under the hood that generates 360 horsepower. If you’re ready to test out the power of the Durango, the SRT Track Experience is available for the first time, and only with this special edition model.
There are plenty of fun features that are exclusive to this Durango, and you’ll find them inside and out. The 20-inch Y-spoke Brass Monkey wheels make sure it stands out, along with the black six-piston Brembo brakes. Inside, it borrows the front seats from the SRT but adds some unique stitching.
There’s Still a Regular Durango, too
If you head to a Dodge dealership in search of a regular edition 2025 Durango, you’ll find those, too. The three-row SUV is an intriguing option for SUV drivers who like more pep in their step, and it has more personality than the average family-friendly SUV.
The standard engine for the Durango has an impressive 295 horsepower, but you can also get it with a 360-horsepower V-8. Choosing the V-8 also increase your towing power to 8,700 pounds, which is more than enough for those who want to haul a small camper, or you have a fishing boat you need to launch.
Choose Your Durango
There’s a good reason to celebrate the HEMI engine, and the 2025 Dodge Durango special edition models are just the way to do it. Head to a Dodge dealership near you and check out these performance vehicles disguised as family SUVs.
