Redefining the Everyday SUV A First Look at the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox

If you’ve looked for a small SUV at your Chevy dealership, you’ve probably come across the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox. And once you get behind the wheel, it’s easy to see why it’s one of Chevrolet’s best-selling SUVs. The Equinox is engaging, efficient, and versatile. And for 2025, it’s getting even better.

An Updated Exterior Design with Some Extra Personality

The 2025 Equinox will arrive on Chevy dealership lots with an updated look. Not only is it wider by two and a half inches, but it will now have square wheel arches and fender flares to make it look more athletic. Chevy also updated the LED lighting to complement the new rugged look.

A New Trim for Adventure Seekers

The Equinox is entering the realm of adventure-ready SUV road warriors with the new ACTIV trim. We’ve seen this model before, but not for the Equinox. This new trim takes everything you love about this SUV and makes it ready for some light off-roading with all-terrain tires.

The ACTIV also has your comfort in mind with Premium Evotex microfiber upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.

Turbo Charged Power Brings Upgraded Performance

The 2025 Equinox rolls off the production line with a 1.5-liter turbo engine that churns out 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. The turbo engine is paired with a CVT for front-wheel drive models and an eight-speed automatic for models equipped with all-wheel drive.

This engine setup gives the 2025 Equinox enough power to tow up to 1,500 pounds, adding to its function and versatility. In addition to its towing power, the ACTIV and RS trims get driver-selectable drive modes with options for Normal, Off-Road, and Snow.

More Tech and Seamless Connectivity

Looking for a tech-savvy SUV? The 2025 Equinox has a newly designed driver-focused cabin with an 11-inch configurable driver information display, and 11.3-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. The driver information system provides the driver with insights into the SUV’s performance, including fuel economy, navigation cues, and mileage.

The large touchscreen is really the focal point of the new Equinox. It has everything you need to stay entertained and informed right within reach or view. The display houses Chevy’s infotainment system with seamless integration using the wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features Google Built-In, so your virtual assistant is always right there with you.

A Functional Cabin for All Drivers

Some of the updates that Chevy made to the Equinox make it easier to take on road trips or load up with kids or cargo if you’re staying in town. The 60/40 split rear seat allows you to open up the cargo area to 63.5 cubic feet, and there’s a hidden storage sp

ace under the cargo floor if you need to keep things out of sight.
