Scion has been a big win for Toyota in previous model years. In 2016, Toyota has announced that they will launch two models: The Scion iM and Scion iA. Both are stickered with a price tag that is sure to please Scion lovers. The iM is a hatchback version of the vehicle, and the iA is a traditional sedan. Both vehicles will be available in the showroom beginning September 1st, 2015.
Scion iM will have a starting MSRP of just $18,460 for the manual version, and $19,200 for the CVTi-S model. Scion iA begins at $15,700 for the six speed manual version and $16,800 for the six speed automatic model. Scion iM is a cute hatchback that is full of unexpected space. A 137 hp 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine is under the hood. It has an MPG of 28 in the city/37 highway for the automatic transmission and 27/36 for the manual. A 7-inch Pioneer Audio Display unit, rear backup camera, 4.2 inch color TFT multi-informational display (a Scion first!), Hill Start Assist, and Dual Zone Climate Control.
Scion iA is Scion’s first sedan to enter the playing field. A 1-6 hp 1.5 liter engine featuring quick revving, and high compression is under the hood. Your choice of a six speed automatic or manual transmission comes with the iA offering 33/42 MPG for city/highway on the automatic and 32/41 MPG for manual. Key features on the iA include keyless entry, push button start, low-speed collision system, backup camera, 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system with voice recognition, and power exterior mirrors.
