Have you heard about the new Kia EV9 but haven’t had a chance to check it out yet? Now’s the time. Head to a Kia dealer and take a look at this all-electric three-row SUV. There is a lot to love about this new Kia, and the electric powertrain is just the beginning. Take a look at a few of the top things we can’t stop talking about with the 2024 Kia EV9.
Space, Space, and More Space in the Cabin
There are three rows of seats in the Kia EV9, but you can get it with seating for either six or seven. If you like the open feel of second-row captain’s chairs, then you’ll have room for seven. If you need that extra seat, a bench seat it is, with space for seven. No matter where your passengers sit, they’ll have plenty of head and legroom, even in the third row.
Behind the seats, there are 20 cubic feet of cargo space, and this is with both rows in use. Fold down the second and third rows, and this space opens up to 82 cubic feet. You can haul lots of items back there if you need to.
Technology and Screens Galore in the Kia EV9
The technology features come standard in the EV9, even if you have the entry-level Light trim. There are two 12.3-inch screens to start. One sits in the dashboard, and the other is directly in front of the driver. The infotainment touchscreen houses Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an integrated navigation system. Bluetooth comes standard, and connecting your phone to the infotainment system is quick and easy. Even though there is wireless charging, you still get a few USB ports in the first and second rows for your people who need to plug in.
Safety Comes Standard
It’s probably not a surprise that the EV9 comes standard with tons of safety systems. From automatic braking to intersection collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot warning, it’s all there, no matter what trim you find at a Kia dealer. If you bump up to the Land trim, it adds a surround-view camera and a blind-spot camera, while the GT-Line has an automatic parking system that will work even if you’re not in the vehicle.
The Kia EV9 Just Feels Luxurious
While the cabin is sleek and uncluttered, it also feels upscale and has the features to back it up. The first and second rows have heated and ventilated seats in the higher trims, and you can get driver’s seat memory, so once you set it, you can forget it. The ambient cabin lighting is also a fun addition. Set the mood for your ride with different color options.
Hands-Free Driving Could Be in the Future at Your Kia Dealer
While it’s not available yet with the 2024 Kia EV9 that may be sitting at your Kia dealer right now, the GT-Line offers Kia’s Advanced Highway Driving Assist system that could offer a hands-free driving experience with future updates.
