Even though this is one of the best looking SUVs on the market, it’s still an impressive workhorse that will get the job done whenever you need to make something happen.

As you look to the standard items listed for this impressive vehicle you’ll find the SLE brings you front and rear parking sensors, a rearview cameral, an IntelliLink infotainment system, an eight-inch touchscreen, SiriusXM, Bluetooth streaming and several other great items. The SLT is where the leather comes in for the seats, heated and ventilated seats are added, a power folding second and third rows are in place as well as the Enhanced Driver Alert Package and a hands free tailgate. The Denali brings you the most powerful engine in this SUV, an improved interior look and Magnetic Ride Control.

When you look under the hood of the Yukon you’re greeted with one of two V8 engines. Both of these engines offer direct injection and Active Cylinder Management to help improve fuel efficiency. The first is a 5.3-liter V8 that gives you 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque while the Denali engine is the 6.2-liter V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. Both powertrains can be had in 2WD or 4WD with the Denali trim and engine being the only one offered if you want the longer wheelbase of the Yukon XL to drive.

As you move through the choices for the Yukon, you’ll find yourself faced with several great options that you can include. These options include an optional front bench seat which allows you to have nine people ride in the vehicle, the Enhanced Driver Alert Package and Convenience Package that can be added to the SLE, and the Open Road Package for the SLT and Denali trims. The Convenience Package adds a power liftgate, power adjustable pedals and the remote garage door opener while the Open Road Package adds a navigation system, a rear seat entertainment center, a power sunroof and the SiriusXM radio service.

The GMC Yukon has been the beast on the streets for many years and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon.
