The Toyota lineup continues to evolve and change. Fans of the Toyota Venza will soon have to shop used cars when if they want to buy one, because it’s being replaced by the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia. If you like the Toyota Crown but want an SUV, you’ll love the Toyota Crown Signia. But there’s a lot to like about this latest addition.
A Little Upscale Spiciness for the Familiar Toyota Lineup
Just like the Venza it’s replacing, the Crown Signia takes its cues from Lexus and Toyota with a simplified take on luxury.
Just A Hybrid
The Crown Signia will be offered exclusively with a hybrid powertrain that uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor. These combine to generate 243 horsepower, which if you compare it to the Crown sedan, you’ll enjoy some extra power. All Crown Signias come with all-wheel drive, and you can expect to get up to 36 mpg combined.
A Safety Feature Packed SUV
It’s not a surprise that Toyota gave the 2025 Crown Signia their Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 bundle. It’s the latest and greatest version of the safety suite and comes packed with adaptive cruise control, lane centering and lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and traffic sign recognition.
Blind-spot monitoring is not part of Toyota Safety Sense, but it still comes standard with the Crown Signia, along with rear cross-traffic alert. You can bump up to the Limited trim if you want the rain-sensing windshield wipers and more advanced parking sensors.
An Interior You’ll Enjoy Riding In
The Crown Signia has two rows of seats and room for five people. When you don’t have rear-seat passengers and need to load up the back, just fold down the rear seats, and you’ll have lots of storage space.
The cabin feels luxurious, with leather-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, and power-adjustable front seats available. Rear seat passengers can stay warm, too, with heated seats and automatic climate control.
The Tech You’ll Want for Any Drive
Toyota doesn’t skimp on the technology in the new Crown Signia. It comes standard with a huge 12.3-inch touchscreen front and center in the dashboard. Another digital screen sits in front of the driver, making it easy to see all the information they need. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto bring your phone screen to the large infotainment screen. With five USB-C ports, everyone can plug in, but you don’t have to when you want to charge up because there’s also a wireless charging pad.
Want to blast your favorite music while you drive? Check out the 11-speaker JBL stereo that comes with the Limited. It’s crisp, clear, and LOUD!
While some Toyota drivers may be disappointed that a new Venza will not be produced, they will still be able to buy one if they shop for used cars. The Venza’s departure just makes room for the latest 2025 Crown Signia.
